Created from a single vineyard near Verzy, the colour is a deep gold which sets you up for a gorgeous nose full of sweet, honeyed toast with a touch of concentrated fig and brambles. The sweet oak follows on the palate, alongside blueberries and honey.
There is a lovely weight to the fruit that holds superbly on the mid to late and really draws you back in, before a wonderfully fiery and complex finish.

House Profile

Whilst this Maison might only have been established in the late 1990's, the family can trace their winemaking history back hundreds of years. The estate boasts an ample 21 hectares across Trépail, Vilelrs-Marmery and Verzy in the Montagne de Reims, as well as plots in the Côte des Bar. The talented vigneron, Edouard Carré, is presently at the helm working with organic processes in the vineyards and vinifying in 300l new oak barrels.
