Beautiful golden in colour, the nose is fine and fruity with a background of almonds and a touch of honey, followed by wood-smoke and a hint of anise. It's lovely and chewy on the palate with more white fruits and wood. The austerity of its aromatic character and its structure on the palate show great ageing potential too.
