We love all of Georges Remy's wines and respect him as a king of Pinot in the land of Pinot, but something really special happens when he plays around with Chardonnay. Les Muits is pure Chardonnay from Tauxieres and it rocks! The nose shows some playful exotic elements and the palate has plenty of life and crisp citrus led fruit and you feel that explosion waiting in the wings. There is a nice vertical finish with a clever pith play on the mid to late. This needs time but, be patient, and when it opens in the next year or so it will be a beautiful monster..

We visited Georges before he had even released a Champagne! Having seen a bottle of Bouzy Rouge, (red wine from the village of Bouzy), we found our way to his house and were introduced to a fabulous selection of cuvées. He works mainly with Pinot Noir in Bouzy, Tauxieres and creates a stunning rosé!
