A nice non-vintage blend of all three grapes coming from a selection of parcels in and around Troissy. There is a nice compact nature on the palate with a good delivery of plump, ripe fruit and a really nice little play of salinity.

Alexis is the 6th generation of Champagne Xavier Leconte but has chosen to create a stunning side brand, Champagne Alexis. The wines jumped out at us for their complexity, texture and depth. He works mainly with Meunier from Troissy, Dormans, Mareuil-le-Port, Vandières and, importantly, some epic Pinot Noir in Aÿ – where he creates his stunning cuvée: Aegius.
