4g/ltr. One of the truly unique wines in Champagne. Made using all 7 legal grape varieties of the region: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier, Fromenteau, Arbanne, Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier. Made in a perpetual cuvee with over 50% made up from 2005 to the current vintage. The wine is like nothing else. A beautiful delicate mousse leads to this palate with amazing texture and salinity. The fruit sits in the exotic camp with plenty of rich, toastiness. Let it open up in a large glass and see where it takes you.

House Profile

Started in 1889 by Jean-Baptiste Laherte, Aurelien (the 7th generation) now looks after 11 hectares mostly in Chavot just south of Epernay. They work heavily with oak (over 80% of production) creating wonderfully aromatic, rich and unique wines that demand time in your glass!
