One of a range of older vintage wines from Remy that benefits from 10+ years on lees and then subsequent bottle ageing. The nose is more focussed than 2005/6 but the front end lifts really nicely with ample fruit and freshness. The purity and drive of 07 nicely controls the mid palate with a lovely primary fruit layer, whilst the finish keeps central with surprising weight.
House Profile
Remy has taken over his family maison and injected a new and vibrant lease of life to these already lovely wines. Based in the village of Passy-sur-Marne he now makes two distinct styles. His Non Vintage cuvée, which is a playful and fruity wine that flirts nicely with oxidation and his single variety wines, which are oak vinified, serious and deep. They are all gorgeous with a sensational level of fruit and texture.
