Made from 3 parcels in the village of Chamery. La Mazure for the Pinot Noir, La Pucelle for the Meunier and Le Village for the Chardonnay. The wine shows a bristling early tension with a rich front end. It plays a cheeky game with oxygen to broaden out the mid palate, giving some ripe fruit aromas and add some impressive levels of complexity and rounds things off with a gripping salinity on the finish. A fascinating wine that reveals more with each sip you take.

House Profile

We first met Thomas many moons ago, when our French and his English, made any form of communication somewhat difficult. Thankfully his wines speak for themselves. Thomas works with 2.5 hectares in Chamery broken up into 6 parcels mainly in Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay but with some Petit Meslier, Arbanne and Pinot Blanc. He started organic methods in 2012 and creates wonderfully complex, rich and engaging wines that have drawn us back to him time and time again. In the meantime, our French has barely improved, his English is near perfect and the wines? Just better and better!
