A brilliant wine from one of the most highly prized vineyards of the entire Champagne region. Beautifully elegant and pristine delivery. Lovely tension. Brilliant acidity. There is an almost perfect delivery of green apple, alongside melon and some playful exotic elements. Lovely thrist-quenching mid to late. Moreish, complex and refined.

House Profile

These guys have been knocking it out of the park over the last few years. The house dates back to the early 20th Century but has been given a new lease of life with the introduction of Clemente and Antoine in the last decade or so. They work with 44 plots in Cramant, Mesnil, Chouilly, Oiry and Oger but have key plots in the fabulous single vineyards of Chetillons and Mont Aigu among others. They produce wines that are beautifully honest to the terroir and I can't wait to see what the next few years brings for them.

    Press Reviews

"This cuvée comes from three plots from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger's praised Chétillons and Chétillons de Haut lieux-dits. Truly exotic in its fruitiness, with pineapple and banana leaf leading the way and fruit drops and caramel following. The wine takes its partial time in oak very well. On the palate, it is powerful and almost chewy, with fine creaminess carrying the palate. This is a big boy with an ample, well-built body. Fine freshness enters towards the back palate, but vinosity masks some of the mineral tension - 91." Essi Avellan MW's top grower Champagnes by score – Club Oenologique April 2023
