100% Chardonnay, 1g/ltr. We have watched this wine mature gracefully over the last few years. Produced from the single vineyard by which it is named, it is fermented in 29% oak and exudes this amazing exotic ripeness up front. The palate laces together a light touch of vanilla with liquorice and that brilliant chalky base. A creamy, delicate finish wraps it all up. Lovely!

House Profile

These guys have been knocking it out of the park over the last few years. The house dates back to the early 20th Century but has been given a new lease of life with the introduction of Clemente and Antoine in the last decade or so. They work with 44 plots in Cramant, Mesnil, Chouilly, Oiry and Oger but have key plots in the fabulous single vineyards of Chetillons and Mont Aigu among others. They produce wines that are beautifully honest to the terroir and I can't wait to see what the next few years brings for them.
