The Oudiette Rosé d'Infusion 2020 is a fascinating production using a unique method of infusion using handpicked Meunier berries which are gentle massaged in a tank of Chardonnay for 24 hours. The colour is a beautiful light salmon pink. There is a lovely touch of tannin. Fruity, playful and surprisingly gripping for such a small amount of Meunier. Screams out for some charcuterie. The nose is so warm with notes of amphora. The palate is wonderfully delicate with touches of clay and sand and delicate jam notes and soft wild strawberries. There's just the right amount of delivery and then the tension and lift ramps up before a soft creamy finish. This rosé is an elegant, full-bodied wine with a delicate balance of aromas and flavours. Enjoy its dry finish, which is the perfect complement to any meal. This balanced, fresh, and fruit forward flavor profile is sure to delight any wine enthusiast. Enjoy its crisp acidity and subtle complexity for a unique, enjoyable experience.
House Profile
A wonderfully exciting new producer from the village of Beaunay, South of the Côte des Blancs. The Domaine was founded in the 1920s by Leon and Gabrielle Aubert. They started by working the vines and their children ended up developing the winery. The first press was put in by their child Pascal in the 1990s. Maxime came on board in 2012 and started to make his own wines in 2015 after the construction of their first cellar.
