Artisan Champagne Introduction
The world of Champagne can be a complex and imposing place, so here at Sip Champagnes we like to make things easy.
If this is your first foray into the world of artisan Champagne then look no further than this non-vintage exploration three-pack! Featuring the three main grapes of Champagne – Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – from three classic regions, it’s the ideal introduction to Champagne’s rich variety, and an unmissable opportunity to discover where your tastes lie.
An incredible introduction to Côte des Blancs Chardonnay, coming from three legendary Grand Cru villages – Chouilly, Cramant and Oiry. The nose is really bright with loads of confected apple, there's a delicate mousse and a sweet, chalky backbone with plenty of mid palate weight and texture.
Famille Delouvin Meunier Perpetuel
If you’ve never tried a pure Meunier this is a great introduction to the lesser known of the three noble grapes. Made from a solera system by a young and exciting winemaker in the village of Vandieres in the Marne Valley, the palate is rich and ripe with nutty notes and bright primary fruits.
Dosnon Recolte Noire
Rounding off this trio is a pure Pinot Noir from the southerly Aube region. This is a great example of the richer style of Champagne that can be achieved here – juicy, luscious with an amazing toasty palate. You can't help but love the sugar and salinity on the finish.
