Oudiette Les Caourdets 2022

This is the second release of Maxime's single parcel Chardonnay from 'Les Caourdets' plot in Beaunay. Planted in 1984 on a terroir of great biodiversity, with clay and iron oxide rich soil, lying on a bed of chalk, flint and limestone. The nose is wonderfully aromatic, whilst the first sip shows great tension and precision. There is real depth to this wine despite its youth, with more and more nuanced fruit flavour revealing itself as the wine opens.
