Pure Chardonnay from Kimmeridgian clay terroir. The nose brings smokey notes, along with saline, sea shell aromas. There is good depth on the palate and a lovely array of exotic fruit, with a clean, fresh finish.

A family of winemakers with a history that can be traced back to the 1600s, Guenin are based in village of Essoyes, in the heart of the Côte des Bar. Today the Maison is operated by 11th generation vigneron, Sebastien Guenin, who created his first cuvee in 2015 after a wine education that saw him gain experience across France.
