Les Sablonnnières roughly translates as 'sandy lane', which gives you a good idea about the terroir that is used exclusively for this cuvée. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is vinified in barrels, aging on lees for 10 months to provide a robust Blanc de Noirs, bursting with dark fruit and texture on the palate.
House Profile
Having brought on Maxime Oudiette in 2021, we subsequently heard about another 'Oudiette' brand making waves in the Petit Moran. Margot and Charlotte are cousins of Maxime and, in 2014, joined their mother, Florence, in managing their 2.5ha holdings in Beaunay and Celle les Condes. They began vinifiying their first bottles in 2017 and four years later, their first cuvee, Uni Terre, was born.
