100% Chardonnay, 0g/ltr. Produced at the real southern extremes of the Côte des Blancs region. This wine is brilliantly clean with a lazer-like palate and notes of lemon peel and chalk. Beautiful grip and length.

House Profile

Aurelie and Loic set out back in 2010 to create a beautifully expressive wine from the far southern reaches of the region of Champagne. The village of Villenauxe la Grande sits at the very southern reaches of the Côte de Sézanne and holds mostly Chardonnay. They are now fully organic and create amazingly tense, complex and pure wines.

Press Reviews

"The wine originates in the clay and chalk terroirs of Sézanne. Based on the 2018 harvest, most of the wine is fermented in tank, apart from one fifth, which is born in oak. There is deliciously ripe and bright fruitiness on the youthful nose, with creamy whiffs. The same playfully fruity, joyous character continues on the fresh palate. Fresh finish and a slightly foamy mousse. I am enjoying the juicy youthfulness and nervosity of this racy cuvée - 91." Essi Avellan MW's top grower Champagnes by score – Club Oenologique April 2023
