One of a range of older vintage wines from Remy that benefits from 10+ years on lees and then subsequent bottle ageing. The 2006 is the richest and fullest of the range, really showing the vintage in all it's weight. The front end is broad with loads of stone fruit and secondary notes. Mid palate weight is nicely balanced against the freshness creating a wonderfully moreish drop with great length.
House Profile
Remy has taken over his family maison and injected a new and vibrant lease of life to these already lovely wines. Based in the village of Passy-sur-Marne he now makes two distinct styles. His Non Vintage cuvée, which is a playful and fruity wine that flirts nicely with oxidation and his single variety wines, which are oak vinified, serious and deep. They are all gorgeous with a sensational level of fruit and texture.
