At around £40 per bottle, this is the perfect, great-value selection to get you started! With a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, a Meunier, a couple of blends, and even a rosé, this case allows you to explore the region and discover where your tastes lie.
Remi Leroy Brut Rosé
Kicking off the case it's a rosé from the Aube! A blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier with a hefty 15% red wine addition, it's a wonderfully gastronomic wine, bursting with red-fruit flavours.
Champagne Alexis La Terre Mere
No NV grower selection would be complete without a pure Meunier and this is an excellent example from the Vallée de la Marne. Alexis does a great job of retaining freshness and balance without losing the heady bouquet of fruit that typifies this grape.
Bonnaire Terroirs
For our third wine we make a stop in the north of the Côte des Blancs, in the Grand Cru village of Cramant. This pure Chardonnay is an excellent example of Chardonnay in it's spiritual home – crisp and chalky with nice texture and weight of fruit.
Paul Clouet Selection
We hop back to the Montagne de Reims for, what could be considered, the most classic cuvée of this collection; a well-balanced blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 20% Meunier with 7g/ltr.
Pierre Deville Primitif
Staying in the Montagne de Reims we pay a visit to the Grand Cru village of Verzy. This stunning blend of 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay is beautifully structured, elegant and refined – just what you'd expect from this renowned village.
Julien Prelat Chantemerle
We round off the case with a pure Pinot Noir from the southerly Aube region. Coming from 30 year old vines grown on a calcareous terroir, this is layered and complex, with a lovely perfumed nose and explosive, fruit-filled palate.
Please note: Occasionally, due to stock availability, we may need to substitute bottles. In this situation, the replacement cuvées will be in the same style, and of the same or greater value.
