Looking to get acquainted with the world of Artisan Champagne?
Coming in at just £30 per bottle, our non-vintage tasting case offers the most cost effective way to experience and understand small-batch, grower Champagne.
In this case, we have perfectly encapsulated the wonderfully diverse and brilliantly expressive soil differences throughout the region, with three Chardonnays, two Pinot Noirs and a blend for good measure.
1) Pierre Legras Coste Beert
From the classical Cote des Blancs soils. Expect plump green apple fruit and racy tension.
2) Beaugrand Blanc de Blancs
From Montgueux , in the south of the region, this bottle delivers honeysuckle, flowers and spice.
3) Henriet Bazin Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut
The third from the Montagne de Reims, this area is famed for Pinot Noir but shows just how excellent Chardonnay can be with its incredible grip and salinity.
4) Didier Herbert Pinot Noir Brut
A classical Pinot from the upper end of the Montagne de Reims – juicy, lateral and rich.
5) Vincent Renoir Brut Tradition
A meander down the road to the far East of the Montagne de Reims finds you in Verzy and this amazingly fruity blend with just enough Chardonnay to add crispness to the finish.
6) Remi Leroy Extra Brut
A much more serious and vinous experience from the very far South of the region wraps up your little tour of Champagne.
