If we had to pick a favourite cuvée from the collection it might be this brilliant lieu dit. It sounds almost sacrilege to steer away from pure Pinot Noir but this wine is just so fascinating. There is both rich dark fruits from the Pinot, but also a lovely exotic element from the Chardonnay, and it all just intertwines like a delicious fruit salad. Add to this the complexity and texture from oak vinification and cork ageing – there's so much going on it's hard to put it into words.

We visited Georges before he had even released a Champagne! Having seen a bottle of Bouzy Rouge, (red wine from the village of Bouzy), we found our way to his house and were introduced to a fabulous selection of cuvées. He works mainly with Pinot Noir in Bouzy, Tauxieres and creates a stunning rosé!
