6% Red from 2018. Orange, cherry gold. The nose initially showed so much tension so we decanted. Lovely richness on the front end. So vinous and rich. Violets, brambles, blackcurrant. The palate is so vinous I can't quite put it into words. There is so much lateral, creamy warmth and this texture that I haven't found before. Delightfully sweet and carrying so beautifully in a warm red wine way. This is such a fascinating rose. So vinous with a lovely touch of sweetness and delicacy to the finish.

We visited Georges before he had even released a Champagne! Having seen a bottle of Bouzy Rouge, (red wine from the village of Bouzy), we found our way to his house and were introduced to a fabulous selection of cuvées. He works mainly with Pinot Noir in Bouzy, Tauxieres and creates a stunning rosé!
