A pure Meunier, just under 1,000 bottles total production, created from a single parcel of old vines (1969) ‘Le Mont Robert’ in the Vallée de l’Ardre, just to the west of the Petit Montagne de Reims. The wine shows fresh citrus and a slightly honeyed nose with floral elements and white fruit on the palate, with lovely minerality and a touch of spice on the finish.

House Profile

Following apprenticeships with both David Léclapart and Maison Tarlant, Clément Minard began creating his own wines at the co-operative outside Vrigny where he leases space. Working his historic family plots of 2.3ha he uses organic principles and vinifies his plots separately in oak barrels using indigenous yeasts.
