The fourth release of Sarmate and a different blend again to keep true to the vision of the house. This time the dark grapes dominate and, consequently, the wine has more of a dark fruit profile but plenty of citrus and minerality to balance, with delicate notes of pastry lingering in the background.

Based in the village of Sermiers, in the south of the Petite Montagne de Reims, Perrine is one of the very few independent winemakers in a village dominated by a co-operative. Sarmate is her debut cuvée and really shows her potential. We're excited to see where her wines are heading!
