We always have a soft spot for a perpetual reserve, so when this blend cropped up we just had to take a chance. As you'd expect there is plenty going on and, coming from a selection of hot vintages there is plenty of body and rich fruit, but it's never overbearing, with low dosage providing balance. With such limited production allocation is tiny, so get one while you can!

Based in the village of Sermiers, in the south of the Petite Montagne de Reims, Perrine is one of the very few independent winemakers in a village dominated by a co-operative. Sarmate is her debut cuvée and really shows her potential. We're excited to see where her wines are heading!
