Our go-to non-vintage Champagne. Stunning year on year. Lovely sweet fruit with perfect balance and just the right amount of tension for a non vintage.
We were very fortunate to come across the half bottles on our last trip to Champagne. The same Coste Beert that you know and love, but in half bottle format and, importantly, with 4 years of bottle age. If you wanted to know what delights can be found in bottle ageing Champagne then here you have it!
Beautiful front end full of the crisp green apple found in its younger sibling but with a touch of yummy brioche. The palate feels much rounder and richer than its sibling which gives so much more depth to the mid palate and elongates the finish. Such a wonderful experience from a relatively modest exterior!
Based in the village of Chouilly this fanastic maison run by Marcelline and Vincent create brilliant, crisp wines which are the perfect representation of the village. 11 generations of winemakers, the house in it's current status, was formed in 2002 and they work with over 10 hectares, mostly Chardonnay.
