Summer Rosé Trio
Bottles individually purchased: £180
A glass of sparkling rosé in the sunshine is a true summer treat. Everything from the beautiful pink hue, the nose redolent of fresh strawberries, and the crisp, refreshing palate is perfect for the occasion.
Coming in at just £50 per bottle (£25 cheaper than buying each bottle individually), this specially selected three-pack comprises two beautiful blends, alongside a richer saignée (perfect for picnics), to help you get ready for the bright days and balmy evenings ahead.
Jean-Philippe Rosé Extra Brut
A classic blend of all three grapes, 10% oak vinified, with blocked malo and low dosage, makes for a really fresh and enticing cuvée. There's classic strawberries and a touch of cream, with lovely texture and length, followed by a bitter note that links really well with the sugar.
Louis Brochet Rosé Heritage
Another blend from an renowned family of vignerons based in the Petite Montagne de Reims. This cuvée utilises red wine from the esteemed single vineyard of Mont Benoit and relies of a range of vintages to create a lovely round and opulent rosé; remarkably generous with cherries, wild strawberries and great balance.
Rousseaux Batteux 'Les Champs Brûlés' Rosé de Saignée
Have we saved the best until last? A single vineyard, limited production pure Pinot Noir saignée rosé from the upper reaches of Verzy Grand Cru. The grapes are picked at optimum maturity and undergo 24hr maceration before spending 6 months in oak barrels to create a wonderfully rich and vinous Champagne that will be an ideal match for a summer picnic, or even a barbecue!
